We are seeking a skilled Full‑Time Writer, Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into high‑quality written documents with precision and accuracy. Your work will play a key role in delivering the exacting standards our clients expect.
Our Writers provide transcripts for a variety of high‑profile, technical, and confidential meetings and events, including:
- Corporate communications & investor relations events
- Employee relations meetings
- Medical and pharmaceutical communication forums
- Governance meetings (board, management and committee meetings)
- Legal proceedings and formal investigations
- Regulatory meetings and public consultations
- Roundtable discussions and industry seminars
LOCATION: Borough Office, client offices throughout the UK and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe spoken content from audio and video recordings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Format transcripts according to company guidelines and quality standards.
- Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity, grammar, and style.
- Manage your workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Project Management, and Editorial teams.
Requirements
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Previous transcription experience preferred (will be assessed through a writing test).
