About The Role
Are you a skilled Gas Engineer looking to make a difference in your community? Join LiveWest, the largest housing association in the South West, and help us provide high-quality homes and services to our customers. As a Gas Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations. This role is a mobile role, working predominately in the Frome/Glastonbury area. You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, including fault-finding, installation, and annual servicing.
- Quality Workmanship: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, complying with building regulations and safety requirements.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to our customers, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintenance and Testing: Perform periodic testing and installation work, ensuring compliance with current best practices and guidelines.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- On-Call Participation: Take part in an out-of-hours on-call structure and attend meetings and training as required.

About The Candidate

- CCN1 (Domestic Core Element).
- CENWAT1 (Domestic Gas Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters).
- Desirable: CKR1 (Cookers) - Required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing the probation period.
- Desirable: HTR1 (Heaters) - Required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing the probation period.

- Desirable: Part L (Energy Efficiency Qualification)
- Desirable: Part G (Hot Water Safety and Efficiency)
- Desirable: Water Regs WRAS
