About The Role
Are you an experienced leader looking for your next opportunity to drive performance and deliver outstanding neighbourhood services? As our Operations Manager – Neighbourhoods, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality housing management services across our general needs customer base. Leading a team of Area Housing Managers, you will ensure our services are customer-focused, efficient and aligned to our values and regulatory responsibilities. You will drive performance, service improvement and consistency across the region, ensuring we deliver a responsive, accessible and high-quality service that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Area Housing Managers to deliver excellent tenancy and neighbourhood management services.
- Drive performance and continuous improvement across housing services, ensuring value for money and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver operational plans in line with business objectives and strategy.
- Ensure effective tenancy management, maximising tenancy sustainability and supporting positive neighbourhood outcomes.
- Use customer insight, feedback and performance data to improve services and shape future delivery.
- Manage complaints effectively, ensuring learning is embedded and service improvements are implemented.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, local authorities and external partners to deliver joined-up services.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring services are well-resourced and deliver against agreed targets.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Operations Manager – Neighbourhoods, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 3 role and the following role specific skills and experience:
Essential
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, influence and engage teams and stakeholders.
- Experience of managing performance and delivering service improvements within a customer-focused environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence at a senior level.
- Experience of delivering projects or operational plans to agreed outcomes and timescales.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of working with data, insight and performance metrics to drive decision making and improvement.
- Understanding of housing management services and tenancy management principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to housing services.
- CIH / HNC qualification (or equivalent experience), or willingness to work towards.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- CIH accredited membership (or willingness to work towards).
