About The Role

As a Building Labourer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations.
This role is a mobile role, working predominately in the Plymouth area. You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch.
Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: Assist in carrying out repairs, maintenance, general cleaning services, waste disposal, and recycling at our properties.
- Task Execution: Work within clearly defined processes to meet time frames set by the line manager, ensuring accountability for individual results.
- Defect Identification: Identify the extent and scope of reported defects and take appropriate corrective action after consultation.
- Material Management: Collect and distribute necessary materials and equipment required for the tasks, ensuring all tools are maintained and in clean order.
- Mobile Working: Participate effectively in mobile working by accurately operating the electronic recording system for job orders, timesheets, and progress tracking.
- Health and Safety: Observe and comply with health and safety policies and procedures, promoting equal opportunities and customer care.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Building Labourer, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level one role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with experience working in customers\’ homes.
- Positive Attitude: A can-do attitude with exceptional customer service skills.
- Communication Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively and confidently with customers.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- IT Skills: Proficient in the use and application of mobile technology.
- Driving Licence: A full, valid, manual UK driving licence is essential.
Please note: This role is not eligible for a Cos. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without a CoS.
