As a Multi Skilled Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations. We are looking for people who are passionate about delivering strong customer service and working toward our mission of providing a home for everyone. This role is a mobile role, working predominately in the EX and TA postcodes. You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch. This role is being offered on a full‑time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: Responsible for damp and mould washing, cleaning, repairs and any remedial works.
- Basic Decorating: Patch plaster repairs and basic carpentry.
- Task Execution: Work within clearly defined processes to meet time frames set by the line manager, ensuring accountability for individual results.
- Defect Identification: Identify the extent and scope of reported defects and take appropriate corrective action after consultation.
- Material Management: Collect and distribute necessary materials and equipment required for the tasks, ensuring all tools are maintained and in clean order.
- Mobile Working: Participate effectively in mobile working by accurately operating the electronic recording system for job orders, timesheets and progress tracking.
- Health and Safety: Observe and comply with health and safety policies and procedures, promoting equal opportunities and customer care.
