As a Customer Liaison Officer – Energy and Retrofit, you will act as the key link between our customers and our Retrofit team, ensuring customers feel informed, supported and engaged throughout energy improvement works. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in helping customers understand and benefit from low carbon and renewable technologies, ensuring no one is left behind as we invest in more energy‑efficient homes. In this customer‑focused role, you will deliver a high‑quality experience, supporting customers before, during and after retrofit works, while helping to shape how we engage with customers on energy efficiency in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing an excellent customer experience, keeping customers informed about retrofit programmes and energy improvements
- Supporting customers to understand and maximise the benefits of retrofit works and smart technology
- Acting as the main liaison between customers, contractors and internal teams to support access and engagement
- Visiting customers in their homes where required to provide tailored support
- Supporting the planning and development of retrofit programmes by sharing customer insights
- Responding to customer queries, resolving issues and managing complaints effectively
- Monitoring and communicating project progress with relevant stakeholders
- Accurately capturing, maintaining and supporting analysis of operational data

Job Details
This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week. It is a fixed‑term contract/secondment opportunity, for 12 months initially, with the possibility for a permanent opportunity thereafter. This is a mobile role based in the field in the South Devon and Cornwall area – you should be based within a 30 minute commute of this area.
