About The Role As the Building Safety Delivery Manager, you will lead essential high-value remediation projects for our Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs) while maintaining compliance with the Building Safety Act. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee the project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and minimal disruption to customers. You will also maintain the Golden Thread of safety information for our Higher Risk Buildings, regularly updating the Building Safety Case to ensure accurate reporting to the Building Safety Regulator. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with HRB customers, co-designing safety programmes and clearly communicating scope, timelines, and potential financial impacts. Programme Management: Use asset management tools to plan and deliver comprehensive maintenance and investment programmes with clear milestones and deliverables. Health and Safety Leadership: Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Building Safety legislation across all projects. Data Accuracy: Collaborate with the Head of Building Safety to validate, analyse, and present critical building safety data for regulatory reporting. Team Management: Supervise and mentor the Assistant Delivery Manager, setting goals, monitoring progress, and fostering professional development. Budget Oversight: Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and expenditure to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints. About The Candidate To be successful in your application for the role of Building Safety Delivery Manager, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level three role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience: A good working knowledge of the Building Safety Act, CDM regulations, and Fire Safety legislation. Strong communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders. Proven ability to manage complex programmes, prioritise tasks, and deliver outcomes under pressure. Professional qualifications or membership in RICS, CIOB, CIH, or a similar sector, with a degree-level education preferred. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.
