About The Role

LiveWest is looking for a dedicated Estate Officer to join our Supported Housing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Maintenance: Undertake minor maintenance work and repairs, ensuring properties are kept in excellent condition. Report any major repairs and liaise with contractors to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Cleaning and Decorating: Maintain communal areas, including gardens, and prepare vacated properties for new customers by cleaning and redecorating as needed.
- Security Management: Ensure communal areas are secure by locking and unlocking facilities at agreed times, and maintain the security of void properties until new tenancies begin.
- Stock and Administration: Manage cleaning materials inventory, keep records of expenditure, and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week on a field-based role covering the Bristol area.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Estate Officer – Supported Housing, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Experience of gardening, cleaning, minor maintenance repairs and/or decorating; experience in all is not essential but must be willing to undertake them in the role.
- Show an awareness of personal health and safety and of those around you.
- Experience of assisting customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Experience or confidence to liaise with contractors and sometimes act as the main point of contact between them and the customer.
- Ability to work using own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
- Good customer service skills; showing an understanding of what customer care is.
- Show a positive attitude and takes pride in work.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Have a full, valid UK driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle.
