Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Delivery: Assist in the planning of capital investment programmes using our asset management database, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and outcomes are clearly defined.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects meet legal safety standards and that contractors operate to the highest levels of health and safety.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, clearly communicating project scopes, timelines, and any financial implications.
- Sustainability Focus: Contribute to projects that support our Cby28 and Net Carbon Zero goals, helping to eliminate fuel poverty and improve energy efficiency.
- Data & Financial Management: Support the accurate capture and analysis of performance data, and assist in managing budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports.

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basisuntil March 2026, working 37 hours per week. You will be based in Somerset, Bath and Bristol area. Hybrid working is available for this role with our Weston-super-Mare office as the nearest base.

To be successful in your application for the role of Assistant Asset Delivery Manager, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:
- A sound knowledge of current and emerging construction health and safety legislation.
- Experience of producing accurate performance reports.
- A solid background in construction project management or desire to work towards gaining relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, that generate confidence and respect with a wide variety of audiences.
- You will be able to demonstrate sound decision making in a dynamic environment, considering impacts on customers, contractors and budgets.
- PAS2035 Retrofit Level 3 – or working towards.
- Desirable: Degree qualified.
- Desirable: Professional membership of or working towards membership of RICS/CIH/CIOB or similar built environment/H&S sector.
- Hold a valid, UK/EU driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
