LiveWest are looking for a dedicated Anti‑Social Behaviour & Enforcement Officer to join our Neighbourhoods team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring safe, welcoming, and harmonious neighbourhoods where our customers are proud to live.

In this rewarding role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers for nuisance and anti‑social behaviour; managing a caseload, while promoting thriving communities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure that customers receive the best possible support and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage anti‑social behaviour (ASB) and hate crime cases, to sustain safe and peaceful communities.
- Be solution focused, confident and able to foster positive neighbour relationships.
- Build strong partnerships with police, local authorities, and community groups to drive effective resolutions.
- Compile evidence, prepare legal documentation, and confidently present court proceedings.
- Offer advice, guidance, and support to colleagues and customers, ensuring consistency and professionalism in all enforcement actions.

This role is being offered on a full‑time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. This is based in the Weston‑super‑Mare area but will also cover cases in Devon, with our Weston‑super‑Mare office as the nearest base. A hybrid working style is an option.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of ASB and Enforcement Officer, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role and the following role specific skills and experience:
- Experience in social housing or related profession, preferably with a focus on anti‑social behaviour.
- Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict with partner agencies.
- Experience of court procedure and litigation.
- Demonstrable experience of improving customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of how to enhance performance or working practices to deliver improved value for money.
- Knowledge of social housing policy, good practice, current trends and application.
- Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Legislation and case law and best practice.
- Knowledge of anti‑social behaviour, harassment, domestic abuse and hate incident legislation and case law best practice.
- Knowledge of legal casework best practice and of knowledge of quality management.
- Takes a flexible and adaptable approach to hours of work in order to meet customer and operational needs.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
Please note: This role is not eligible for CoS. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without requiring a CoS.
