As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards and customer expectations. This is a mobile role, working predominantly in the Penzance location. You will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of this patch.
Responsibilities
- Fault diagnosis and repair: Diagnose and repair domestic electrical systems, including fault‑finding, rewiring and monitoring.
- Quality workmanship: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, complying with building regulations and safety requirements.
- Customer service: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to our customers, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintenance and testing: Perform periodic testing and installation work, ensuring compliance with current best practices and guidelines.
- Health and safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for you and our customers.
- Team collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve departmental goals, and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications
- Post‑qualification experience: Proven experience in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of responsive maintenance.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in diagnosing electrical faults, performing periodic testing, and carrying out installation work.

- Desirable: 18th Edition BS7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations – required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing probation.
- Desirable: Test and Inspect (2391 or equivalent) – required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing probation.
- Desirable: AM2 (Achievement Measurement Test) – required to complete within a reasonable timeframe after successfully passing probation.
