The predicted salary is between 37900 - 44000 £ per year.
37.5 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity within a new role being developed in the CAMHS service. These Therapeutic Practitioners will sit in the Therapies Pathways. They will also support in step down from the crisis pathway if they do not require a longer intervention. The aim will be to provide 10 to 15 sessions monitored by using outcome measures and although they are a part of the therapy pathway, they work closely with all the pathways and enable the facilitation of CYP moving seamlessly around our pathways.
Our young people do not fit into boxes or models of therapeutic delivery. We hope these new posts will attract the type of clinician that will adapt to the young person's presentation using all their skills, enabling the CYP to come into the service and back out again without the need to access longer-term interventions.
The successful applicant will also be supported to undertake additional therapeutic training depending on the skills they arrive in our service with. This role will also undertake line management and caseload management and supervision responsibilities for junior staff to support their development and the applicant's development.

Main duties of the job:

- To work closely with Therapies pathway and P-CAP pathway working with children and young people who may present with mental health difficulties.
- To deliver evidence-based interventions in a timely manner.
- Good risk management and assessment skills.
