About Us: Livewell Health is the UK's leading provider of health and wellbeing services, with a team of 100 professionals offering services to domestic and corporate clients and events nationwide. We specialise in high-quality soft tissue therapies, such as massage, physiotherapy, medical acupuncture, and more. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care to improve the health and wellbeing of our clients across diverse environments, from in-home settings, clinical settings, corporate settings to major sporting events.
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team of professionals as a self-employed individual. This role will involve delivering a range of high-quality massages from relaxing through to lymphatic, if qualifications allow. This will be to a wide range of clients, including corporate clients, event participants, and private clients. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in a variety of massage techniques and dedicated to providing exceptional client care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, independent therapist to expand their practice and work in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage services tailored to clients' individual needs.
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health and determine appropriate massage techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, where appropriate, to ensure client care.
- Maintain accurate client records and follow up on treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure all equipment and spaces used are clean, sanitised, and organised according to health and safety standards.
- Manage your own schedule and bookings in line with agreed service standards.
- Provide exceptional client service, fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment for all clients.
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications in Massage Therapy (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
- Professional indemnity insurance and up-to-date qualifications in line with industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client trust and rapport.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently, with access to reliable transportation.
- Experience working in corporate or event environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexibility in managing your schedule and location.
- Access to a network of clients through Livewell Health's extensive partnerships.
- Opportunities for professional development and training within the company.
- Supportive team environment with administrative assistance available as needed.
Other Considerations: To join our team, there are 3 Grade Levels: 1, 2, and 3. Grade 1 is a full-time therapist available for more than 30 hours a week; Grade 2 works only some hours such as evenings and weekends; and Grade 3 is event and corporate clients only. Depending on your level, there are some initial costs involved:
- Grade 1 - £350 per month service fee, this includes Calendar, Email, Workwear, Full Administrative support and as many clients as you can handle each week. There are no other costs or commissions to pay Livewell.
- Grade 2 - £120 Joining Fee for your Calendar, Email, Workwear and Onboarding. There is then a £30 a month service fee for your calendar and email, and you will be required to pay commissions of between 20-30% on all bookings.
- Grade 3 - £80 Joining Fee to cover the cost of your workwear and onboarding.
A detailed PDF of the options can be provided.
