We’re looking for a Retrofit Compliance Support colleague to join our Investment team, supporting the effective delivery of our retrofit and funded investment programmes. You’ll provide a wide range of business and project support, from maintaining accurate project information and monitoring progress to supporting compliance, reporting and stakeholder communications.

The role offers agile working, with office days usually Monday in Liverpool, Tuesday in Warrington and Thursday in St Helens. You’ll be expected to attend at least two office days each week, including Thursdays in St Helens as a key office day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate administrative support across retrofit and funded investment programmes.
  • Support the set-up and monitoring of projects, keeping systems and progress information accurate and up to date.
  • Track grant-funded workstreams from inception through to completion, working closely with project teams.
  • Review and audit electronic data to support GDPR, PAS and wider compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and certification records to support compliance and audit requirements.
  • Collate programme information and prepare reports and updates for stakeholders and funding partners.
  • Attend project meetings, take minutes and ensure key actions and decisions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and issue letters and other communications, maintaining accurate stakeholder records.
  • Monitor the HEAT mailbox, responding to and directing enquiries to the appropriate colleagues.
  • Support the development of systems and processes to improve efficiency and ways of working.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues, project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, value for money and effective risk management across the service.

What we're looking for:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong administrative skills, with experience maintaining accurate records, documentation and information
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and confidence working across a range of IT systems and platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes, efficiency and ways of working.
  • Ability to work across our Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens offices, attending at least two office days each week, with Thursdays in St Helens a key requirement of the role.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a competency-based interview at our St Helens Central office on Wednesday 4th November 2026. As part of the interview, candidates will also complete a short Microsoft Excel-based task to assess the skills relevant to the role.
