Fixed Term Contract

The Team Behind the Success

You will be joining a people-focused, values-driven business that has proudly earned Best Companies accreditation for three years running. We place employee engagement at the heart of our culture, ensuring our team feels valued and supported. With customer engagement also at our core, we strive to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships.

We have been enhancing managed services for UK organisations since 2003. We specialise in telephony, connectivity, managed IT, cyber security and cloud infrastructure, providing customers with the tools they need to succeed. We are committed to evolving our services to meet their needs and exceed expectations. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the businesses we partner with and the world around them.

This is a part-time, fixed-term maternity cover opportunity for approximately 39 weeks, with responsibility across a broad range of digital marketing activity. The role offers flexibility around the working pattern, with the specific days and hours to be agreed with the successful candidate. You will work closely with our Marketing, Commercial and Acquisitions Director and colleagues across Sales, Service Delivery and the wider business. The role covers B2B digital marketing, SEO, campaign delivery, website management and content creation. You will need to be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and turning technical or product information into clear, effective marketing content.

At Telappliant, we are committed to providing an environment where every individual is valued. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of marketing activities and projects within a growing technology business.

What's your mission?

Your mission will be to maintain the momentum of our marketing activity throughout the maternity cover period and make sure our teams have the content, campaigns and marketing support they need. You will take responsibility for a broad range of digital marketing activities, from developing campaigns and improving search visibility to updating websites, creating customer-facing materials and supporting Sales with the right content.

No one day will be the same. Some of the activities you will be involved in include:

  • Plan, create and manage B2B marketing campaigns using HubSpot across email, web, social media and other digital channels.
  • Manage and improve SEO across our websites, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content optimisation.
  • Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO tools such as SEMrush to monitor search and website performance, identify opportunities and improve organic visibility.
  • Create and publish website, email, social media and campaign content.
  • Produce customer and sales materials including case studies, guides, presentations, brochures and sales collateral.
  • Work with Sales, technical teams and suppliers to turn product and technical information into clear customer-facing content.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and use the data to improve future marketing activity.
  • Carry out competitor, customer and market research and recommend practical improvements to our marketing activity.
  • Use AI and automation tools where appropriate to streamline marketing tasks, accelerate content and research workflows, and improve productivity without compromising quality or accuracy.

What do you need?

  • Hands-on experience using HubSpot for email marketing, campaigns, automation and reporting.
  • Practical experience using Google Search Console, including analysing search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR and rankings, and identifying indexing or search-performance issues.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and SEO platforms such as SEMrush.
  • A strong practical understanding of SEO, including keyword research, content optimisation and improving organic search visibility.
  • Experience updating and publishing website content using WordPress or a similar CMS.
  • Strong B2B copywriting and content creation skills.
  • The ability to interpret marketing and website performance data and turn it into practical actions.
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make technical or complex information easy to understand.
  • Practical experience using AI and automation tools, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms, to improve productivity, support research, content creation and analysis, streamline marketing workflows and automate appropriate tasks, while applying sound judgement and maintaining quality and accuracy.

Experience in any of the following would be useful, but is not essential:

  • PPC, SEM or paid social campaigns
  • Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar design tools
  • Producing marketing performance reports for senior stakeholders
  • Technology, telecoms, managed services or another B2B technical sector

Be bold, be unique, be brilliant, be you. We are looking for individuality and we value diversity. We are an equal opportunities employer, and we are committed to treating all applicants and employees fairly and equally.

Benefits

  • 25 days' holiday, plus UK Bank Holidays, pro rata for part-time hours and the fixed-term period
  • An additional day off to celebrate your birthday
  • Life insurance
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • EAP – 24-hour support to help with all of life’s challenges
