About LiveU
LiveU is the global leader in live video contribution and remote production solutions, trusted by the world's top broadcasters, sports networks, and media organizations across 150+ countries. From breaking news in conflict zones to the biggest sporting spectacles on the planet, LiveU's hardware and cloud-based technology powers the moments that matter most. As LiveU continues to evolve its platform — expanding from premium broadcast hardware into a full cloud-based SaaS ecosystem — we are looking for a VP of Product who can lead this transformation with strategic clarity, deep industry expertise, and a passion for delivering world‑class customer experiences.
About The Role
This is a senior leadership role for a product executive who brings rare depth: someone who understands the intricacies of professional broadcast hardware, has built and scaled SaaS products, and knows how to win in the media & entertainment technology market. You will own the product vision and go-to-market strategy for a key product domain, balancing long‑term strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You will be as effective in a C‑suite roadmap review as you are in a product discovery session with customers or R&D engineers. You will report directly to the CBO and serve as a key voice in shaping LiveU's product portfolio and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for the LiveU SaaS product portfolio
- Act as the customer‑facing voice of product — engaging enterprise customers and partners globally, representing LiveU at key industry events (NAB, IBC), and translating market insights into strategic priorities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development on go‑to‑market strategy, product positioning, and launch execution
- Work closely with R&D, UX, and architecture teams to translate vision into executable requirements, aligning hardware, firmware, and cloud release cycles
- Define OKRs and success metrics; drive a culture of outcome‑focused delivery, continuous discovery, and rapid iteration
- Build, mentor, and grow a high‑performing PM team; foster ownership, discovery mindset, and cross‑functional collaboration
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- 15+ years of product management experience, with substantial time in senior/director/VP-level roles leading product teams
- Proven track record in broadcast, media technology, live video, or adjacent industries — you understand the language, the workflows, and the customer
- Proven results in growing product portfolio revenue and adoption
- Experience or very good understanding of hardware products: you have shipped physical or firmware‑based products and understand the constraints and cadences of HW development
- Strong SaaS product background: experience building, launching, and scaling cloud-based platform products — ideally in media, video, or enterprise tech
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically across a 3-5 year horizon while driving quarterly execution
- Proven experience managing and growing product teams
- Track record in both outbound (customer engagement, GTM, positioning) and inbound (roadmap ownership, R&D collaboration) product responsibilities
- Outstanding communication skills — able to inspire C-level executives, energize engineering teams, and build confidence with enterprise customers
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfort with ambiguity and complex trade-offs
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud media infrastructure, IP video, remote production (REMI), or live streaming platforms
- Familiarity with broadcast standards and protocols (SDI, NDI, SMPTE, RTP, SRT, RTMP, etc.)
- Background in B2B enterprise sales cycles — deep understanding of how large broadcasters, sports rights holders, or network operators buy technology
- Experience working with global, distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Prior experience at a scale-up or growth-stage tech company undergoing a hardware-to-cloud transformation
