As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you’ll design and manage DevOps pipelines across PaaS-based Azure environments, embedding secure-by-design principles and meeting industry and government security standards. The role includes 3rd-line support, break-fix and out-of-hours cover on a shift basis, platform optimisation, and providing hands-on technical support to development teams. Deploying, monitoring, maintaining and improving our Azure platform Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity, perform infrastructure as code optimisation to ensure cost efficiency and reliable service. Providing 3rd line support for live Azure Platform services, addressing complex issues and coordinating with internal teams to maintain service uptime. Delivering and supporting the customers’ infrastructure requirements for service enhancements and new projects. Leveraging deep expertise in Microsoft Azure’s IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings to design, implement, and managing cloud-based solutions that align with business and technical needs. Designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with design partners, enabling faster, more reliable software releases. Ensure consistent, secure, and reproducible infrastructure deployments. Configuring real-time monitoring and alerting within Azure to gain insights into application performance and system health. Fostering strong relationships with software development, testing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices. Extensive experience in Azure DevOps managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure networking and zero trust methodologies primarily working in a live services support. Experience developing using JavaScript, C# This role will report to the Azure Engineering Manager and will sit within our Service department.
