As an Azure Integration Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our platforms running smoothly and securely. Your day will involve monitoring systems, fixing issues as they arise, and working closely with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes. You’ll also look after Azure B2C identity flows and API Management (APIM), helping ensure seamless and secure integrations. Alongside this, you’ll support security activities using tools like Defender for Cloud, SonarCloud, and ZAP, respond to support requests, and help prepare for upcoming releases and projects.
Responsibilities- Providing timely and efficient break-fix support to resolve system issues and minimise downtime in line with Service Level Agreements including out-of-hours.
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and capacity, performing infrastructure and code optimisation to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Providing 3rd line support for the Azure customer identity and integration services and address escalated issues while coordinating with internal teams to maintain service uptime.
- Implementing real-time monitoring tools for applications and underlying infrastructure.
- Setting up proactive alerts and developing incident response procedures to identify, respond to, and resolve incidents efficiently.
- Monitoring system health and providing timely feedback on performance and potential risks to service availability.
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, enforce security policies, and ensure patching and system hardening measures are applied.
- Adhering to corporate Information Security Policies, Azure Security Benchmark, and CIS controls.
- Supporting development teams with technical guidance, ensuring robust and secure applications or services.
- Collaborating on new projects and enhancements to ensure customer identity and integration requirements are met.
You may be required to undertake other duties assigned by your line manager as appropriate.
We are looking for someone with the following:- Experience in providing high-quality break-fix support in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to monitor and maintain complex cloud-based systems, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Experience of managing Azure subscriptions and Azure resources efficiently.
- Expertise in managing customer identity using Azure AD B2C.
- Experience in creating and configuring applications in Azure.
- Knowledge of identity and access protocols: OpenID, OAuth2.0 & SAML2.0.
- Experience in creating and customizing user flows in Azure AD B2C.
- Strong understanding of user management and custom attributes in Azure AD B2C.
- Ability to customize user experience flows in AD B2C User Flows.
- Knowledge of claims providers and technical profiles in B2C.
- Ability to create complex and customized user flows based on requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API and MSAL for managing identities.
- Understanding of SSL certificates and security best practices.
- Experience in implementing custom policies using the Identity Experience Framework in Azure AD B2C.
- Experience with APIM, including security and cloud-to-cloud integration.
- Hands-on experience in developing Azure Functions, Web Apps, and C# programming.
- Experience in user administration, group assignment, and role management in the Azure AD B2C portal.
- Proficiency in using Azure Blob storage, Application Insights, and monitoring tools.
- Expertise in building and automating CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery from development to production in Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and deploying SonarCloud and Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) in a CI/CD pipeline for code quality and security scanning.
This role will report to the Azure Engineering Manager and will sit within our Service department.
