LiveScore is seeking a creative, fast‑thinking Social Media Producer to help super‑charge our video content on social platforms. In this role, you will work closely with the wider social media team to come up with ideas and create video content that drives engagement and audience growth. You will report directly into the Social Content Lead, and should be comfortable with every stage of video production, from creative ideas, filming and editing to publishing on social. This is a key position within the team, based in London, with huge scope for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, produce, edit, and publish sports video for platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and X.
- Collaborate with internal and external talent, designers, and analysts to create cohesive and compelling sports narratives.
- Optimise all video content for social performance, including captions, storytelling structure, retention hooks, and thumb‑stopping visuals.
- Stay on top of social trends, sports culture, and platform updates to ensure LiveScore remains a leader in real‑time sports content.
- Monitor analytics to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Willing to work weekends and evenings as part of a flexible rota.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience producing video for digital or social platforms — ideally in sports media, or via your own TikTok/YouTube channel.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects or similar.
- Strong understanding of football and major global sports, including competitions, athletes, storylines and fan culture.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure, especially during live matches or breaking news moments.
- Skilled at writing engaging, platform‑specific captions and packaging content for maximum reach.
- Solid understanding of social performance metrics and how to apply insights to content creation.
- Confidence to appear on‑camera occasionally is a bonus, but not essential.
