The Role
Working within the brand marketing team across Virgin Bet, the Senior Brand Marketing Executive will support the Senior Brand Marketing Manager in planning and executing brand strategies within the markets.
The Role Will Be Split Across Six Core Areas:
- Brand development and guardianship
- Communications, campaign and media planning
- Creative development and delivery
- Co‑ordination and execution of sponsorship portfolio
- Co‑ordination and execution of PR and brand
- Marketing effectiveness measurement
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the media planning and delivery of any media deals (in conjunction with the agency)
- Playing a key role in shaping the creative output of the brand by leading briefing and delivery with internal design teams and external agencies.
- Lead the planning and delivery of sponsorship inventory, marketing collateral, and related event‑led brand activations with racecourses across the UK.
- Playing a key role in developing and implementing best‑in‑class research and measurement frameworks to evaluate brand performance, marketing effectiveness, earned media, sponsorship evaluation and inform strategic decision‑making.
- Regularly monitoring and analysing and reporting on marketing performance metrics, including ROI, KPIs, and campaign effectiveness, to assess the success of brand initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Taking ownership of updating the master brand budget and associated financial trackers.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners, agencies, and vendors, to support brand initiatives and drive collaborative opportunities.
- Serving as a key point of contact internally and externally for all brand marketing‑related activities, providing expert guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
- Experience within a similar brand/marketing role (client side or agency)
- Experience/knowledge of the sports betting industry would be advantageous
- Experienced in managing agencies and working closely with / leading internal teams
- An effective communicator, well versed in stakeholder management
- Demonstratable experience of campaign planning and project management
- Creative experience, working across design based projects
- Broad channel experience (both media and creative)
- Strong commercial acumen
