The Role
As an Insights Analyst in our Compliance and Operational Risk Analytics team, you will be crucial in ensuring our gaming environment remains safe, compliant, and secure.
You will spend your time analysing payment channels, KYC processes, Responsible Gaming initiatives, and combating fraud, all within a strictly analytical remit.
By leveraging automation and advanced analytics, your insights will directly influence our risk management strategies, protecting the business and our players.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex datasets related to customer payments, KYC verifications, and promotional usage to identify potential risks and fraudulent activity.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer payment channels and transactional data to identify anomalous behaviours, detect potential fraudulent activity, and mitigate financial risks.
- Evaluate and monitor KYC (Know Your Customer) verification datasets to enhance customer risk profiling, optimise the onboarding flow, and ensure robust operational compliance.
- Proactively monitor and investigate global bonus abuse patterns, leveraging automation to streamline reporting and protect commercial integrity.
- Actively seeking opportunities to implement analytical automation for regulatory compliance and operational risk tracking.
- Transform intricate data analyses into clear, actionable recommendations that enhance responsible gambling practices, exploring the use of AI and advanced analytical tools where relevant to improve efficiency.
- Build and maintain automated reporting dashboards to monitor key compliance-related KPIs and track the performance of risk initiatives.
- Collaborate across business departments, translating technical findings articulately to influence decision-making regarding risk strategies.
- Proactively anticipate additional information needs and propose alternative analytical solutions to contextualise business problems.
- Stay continually updated on evolving online gambling regulations and industry changes that impact operations.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- Demonstrable proficiency in writing SQL to query databases, manipulate large datasets, and extract meaningful insights.
- Proven analytical background with a strong grasp of mathematical concepts and the ability to integrate them into advanced analytical models.
- Experience in, or highly transferable skills relevant to, analysing financial transactions, payments, or KYC processes.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational risks.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, specifically regarding new analytical tools, automation capabilities, and soft skills.
- Experience working in Gambling/Gaming is an advantage but a demonstratable desire to get into the industry will be considered.
- Familiarity with regulations, or previous exposure to working alongside regulators and within a strictly regulated environment.
