Cyber Security Manager

LiveScore Group is at the forefront of the sports media and betting industry. We are looking for a Cyber Security Manager to be a pivotal part of our journey. Reporting to the Director of IT & Cyber Security, you will lead the evolution of our security posture in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Location: Soho, London. Work arrangement: Monday to Thursday in the office with Fridays off (4‑day work week trial, to be reviewed in 2026).

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Develop and mature the Information Security Management System (ISMS), driving continuous improvement and maintaining our ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of security professionals, fostering their technical and professional growth.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Technology, Product, and the wider business to embed security into their strategic objectives.
  • Develop and report on key security KPIs and metrics, providing clear insights to management and the Cyber Security Steering Committee (CSSC).

Risk & Compliance

  • Lead the maintenance of the Group’s compliance posture, owning our ISO 27001 and PCI‑DSS certifications and leading all external audit efforts.
  • Own and operate key security programs, including risk management, vulnerability and patch management, third‑party security assurance, and security incident management.
  • Advise on security requirements to support regulatory compliance across our global jurisdictions, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
  • Conduct and oversee internal audits, security test plans, and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of our security controls.

Technical & Operational

  • Act as the subject‑matter expert on technical security, providing guidance on cloud security (GCP, AWS), endpoint security, application security, and secure architecture.
  • Partner with product and development teams to embed secure development (DevSecOps) practices, mitigating threats like bots, account takeover, and other risks unique to our industry.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of our security tooling, from firewalls and detection systems to logging and monitoring solutions.
  • Lead the enhancement of our security automation capabilities to streamline testing and operational processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior cyber security role with strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing an ISMS and successfully leading ISO/IEC 27001 certification and recertification efforts.
  • Hands‑on experience across multiple security domains: vulnerability management, penetration testing, security operations, risk management, and incident response.
  • Deep understanding of application security principles and familiarity with OWASP projects (OWASP Top 10, ASVS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into business‑centric language.
  • A proactive, self‑driven, and continuous‑improvement mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving and complex technology environment.
  • Recognised industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer; a cloud‑security certification will also be an advantage.
  • Experience securing AI/ML development pipelines and platforms.
