This is a permanent role, in which you’ll join a talented and supportive team, to develop new and existing business by providing financial advice on retirement and investment products, both from LV= and across the market.
As a priority, you’ll advise clients who subscribe to our ‘ongoing advice service’ within agreed timeframes.
You’ll be expected to attend the Bournemouth office when needed, with the flexibility to work from home regularly.
Key Accountabilities Within the role, you will…Achieve individual financial contribution and client retention objectives, while contributing ideas to increase income and profitability.
Provide detailed, relevant advice on savings, retirement, pension switching and investment products, with constructive feedback on how processes could be improved where relevant.
Effectively promote the ongoing advice service and conduct reviews within agreed timeframes.
Complete fact-finds, formulate advice and prepare suitability reports.
Self-generate leads proactively, including internet-generated leads.
Follow up on enquiries, maintain accurate interaction logs, and consistently seek opportunities to expand client base by effective communication, relationship building and promotion of the LV= Friends & Family referral scheme.
Handle pre-qualified inbound call opportunities for savings, investments and retirement products.
Consistently meet required standards defined by the LV= Risk Management function and external regulatory bodies.
Maintain and develop your knowledge to ensure that changing needs of members are met (complete 35+ hours CPD each year, while holding a valid Statement of Professional Standing).
Share your knowledge and provide coaching to junior members of the team where required.
Analyse MI and use this to improve performance and conversion rates.
Support the Retirement Options Specialists and Retirement Admin Support Team to ensure positive customer journey lifecycle.
About You Our ideal candidate will…Demonstrate robust numerical and IT skills.
Be an expert salesperson, with strong communication, negotiation and listening skills.
Be self-motivated and adaptable, able to expand knowledge, manage time effectively, and achieve conflicting priorities efficiently.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail within all work.
Establish and build positive working relationships, ensuring you are a trusted, safe pair of hands for colleagues and customers.
Have experience of working within a regulated, telephony-based environment.
Hold a diploma in Financial Planning or Regulated Financial Planning, with relevant CPD records and a valid statement of professional standing.
Showcase previous sales experience in pension funding and switching, investments and at-retirement solutions including investments, flexible and capped drawdown, fixed-term and enhanced annuities (desirable).
