The Corneal Nursing Team In St Paul’s Ophthalmology Department has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Nurse to join our team. We have a vacancy for a Registered Nurse who is keen to develop their role and skills and has a passion for working with visually impaired patients.

We are a progressive team which participates in Research and Audit and is constantly striving to provide a high quality service for our patients.

it is an extremely busy and demanding speciality but interesting and varied, including Nurse led clinics, Corneal Crosslinking, Excimer laser service and Corneal Fluorescein Angiography. Our patients include children as well as adults.

if have experience in Ophthalmology and would like the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge then we would love to hear from you., The role will include:

Participating in Corneal Led Clinics

Assist in the running /performing Crosslinking Service

Perform Corneal Fluorescein Angiography/IV infusions

Assist the Lead Nurse to develop the Nurse -led Service and deputise whenever necessary.

Act as a mentor for junior staff/student nurses/apprenticeships

Assist in the smooth running of the clinics.

Contribute to Research, Audit and Practice Developmnent
