Join our caring team at Homecarers Care Services. We are currently recruiting for a Trusted Assessor to join our Manchester and Tameside branch. Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference in people’s lives? Homecarers Care Services is expanding its domiciliary care services across Manchester and Tameside, and we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Trusted Assessor to join our growing team.
As a Trusted Assessor, you’ll be welcomed into people’s homes at moments when your support truly matters. You’ll take the time to understand each person’s needs, carrying out thoughtful, accurate, and person‑centred assessments that help them live safely and independently. Guided by current regulations and our organisation’s values, you’ll bring care, clarity, and compassion to every visit. This role is perfect for someone who is detail‑minded, empathetic, and committed to making a genuine difference in people’s everyday lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough, person-centred assessments
- Develop personalised care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences
- Create flexibility within care plans to adapt changing circumstances
- Regularly review and evaluate whether the care provided meets the customers’ needs
- Identify gaps in service provision and recommend appropriate adjustments
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and best practice guidelines
- Maintain accurate, detailed and timely documentation
- Liaise with customers, families, carers and healthcare professionals
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in assessment and care planning
- Holder of a UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above preferred)
- Strong understanding of person centred care principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively
