Are you passionate about sports and exercise science and looking to make a significant impact in an innovative and renowned institution? LJMU\’s Faculty of Health Innovation Technology and Science (HITS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Technician, supporting our Sports and Exercise Science Facilities.
As a technician, you will work in close partnership with senior colleagues, providing invaluable support to academic staff and other members of the technical team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of teaching activities and research projects within the Faculty. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, contributing to the advancement of education and research in this dynamic field.
Collaboration and teamwork will be a key to your success in this role. You will work closely with academic staff, assisting them by ensuring that all equipment is appropriately maintained and calibrated. Your expertise in a range of skills including biomechanics will be invaluable in providing technical support and guidance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our teaching and research endeavours. This post will work over multiple sites so the applicant must hold a full driving licence to facilitate the transportation of equipment.
As a technician, you will play a key role in maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring their efficient operation, and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and students.
