The Journalism Department at Liverpool John Moores University is seeking a Senior Teaching Fellow in Sports Journalism to support our sports journalism programmes for one day a week across the academic year 2026/7. Our department has a well-established, international reputation for delivering high quality journalism and sports journalism programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We are proud of our strong recruitment, extensive industry links and positive graduate outcomes, and above all of the excellent practical training and academic education that our students receive.
You will be either an educator with a track record in teaching sports journalism or an experienced sports journalist with a proven commitment to education and training in an industry context. Understanding of the NCTJ would be an advantage.
