We are seeking a motivated researcher to support a range of public health projects within the Public Health Institute. The role involves conducting literature reviews, synthesizing evidence, and contributing to high-quality written outputs across diverse topics, including:

  • Public Health approaches to violence reduction
  • Childhood adversity
  • History of public health
  • Religion and health
  • Pets and public health
  • AI in public health
  • Health inequalities

You will collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty (HITS), including other LJMU schools, including Nursing and Advanced Practice and Public and Allied Health. Most work will be campus-based, with some flexibility for remote working.

You will hold a PhD in a health or science related field with experience in designing and conducting research using a range of research methodologies, together with experience in data collection and analysis.
