About the Role
We are seeking a part time Occupational Health Nurse to join a small team within the Occupational Health Unit, assisting the Senior Occupational Health Nurse in the delivery of a comprehensive occupational health service to the University including staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Occupational Health Nurse in delivering comprehensive occupational health services.
- Undertake a full range of occupational health provisions, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, health screening and surveillance.
- Complete confidential health records using the OH database, ensuring compliance with University and SEQOHS standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with relevant clinical knowledge and substantial nursing experience.
- Experience in a similar occupational health setting desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional and organised, with excellent IT skills.
- Flexible, proactive approach, able to manage a varied, sometimes challenging, workload with minimal supervision.
