About the Role

We are seeking a part time Occupational Health Nurse to join a small team within the Occupational Health Unit, assisting the Senior Occupational Health Nurse in the delivery of a comprehensive occupational health service to the University including staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Occupational Health Nurse in delivering comprehensive occupational health services.
  • Undertake a full range of occupational health provisions, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, health screening and surveillance.
  • Complete confidential health records using the OH database, ensuring compliance with University and SEQOHS standards.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with relevant clinical knowledge and substantial nursing experience.
  • Experience in a similar occupational health setting desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and organised, with excellent IT skills.
  • Flexible, proactive approach, able to manage a varied, sometimes challenging, workload with minimal supervision.
