We are looking for a Lecturer or Teaching Fellow in Construction Work Based Learning and Apprenticeships. The role focuses on leading and delivering apprenticeship work-based curriculum across Levels 4, 5 and 6 for both Quantity Surveying (QS) and Construction Management (CM) pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver apprenticeship work-based curriculum alongside apprentices' academic modules.
  • Serve as Module Leader for work-based modules, helping apprentices apply learning in the workplace, demonstrate Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) and progress toward gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA) / Apprenticeship Assessment (AA) readiness.
  • Manage a defined tripartite caseload as an Academic Liaison Tutor, providing on-programme progress reviews across apprentice-employer-university, monitoring progress, agreeing actions and ensuring workplace activity meets module and programme requirements.

  • Level 4: Construction Quantity Surveying Technician, Construction Site Supervisor
  • Level 6: Chartered Surveyor (Quantity Surveying pathway), Construction Quantity Surveyor, Construction Site Manager

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should bring transferable experience in work-based learning, professional practice and industry-facing education. Backgrounds from any discipline or sector are welcome; experience is not strictly restricted to construction.
