The School of Biological and Environmental Sciences is recruiting a part‑time (0.4 FTE) permanent Lecturer in Forensic Anthropology with an established research programme to contribute to our undergraduate programme. The role is based in the Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology, which shares a research theme with the university‑wide Forensic Research Institute.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate modules in Forensic Anthropology.
- Lead and supervise practical fieldwork, burial excavation and sub‑surface scanning.
- Deliver field‑based components for modules.
- Develop and maintain an active research program in forensic anthropology.
- Established research programme in forensic anthropology or related discipline.
- Extensive practical experience in UK archaeology fieldwork, particularly burial excavation.
- Experience in sub‑surface scanning and direction of excavations and surveying.
