This role will involve the day-to-day running of the Sport Building and providing the safe and efficient operation to all users. You should have experience within a sport, exercise and fitness environment. You will have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer care and experience led services.
The work will include setting up activity areas, working with our Reception, Sports Administration Officers and providing basic maintenance and cleaning duties, to support Cleaning & Maintenance staff from our Campus Support Teams.
You will be up to date with all developments in the field and relevant fitness industry qualifications and NGB coaching awards are desirable. Enthusiasm and motivational skills are necessary, and the ability to relate well to students, colleagues, clubs and community users are essential.
You will also work as part of the team being responsible for the operations of the Sports Facilities with specific responsibility for project work and lead role in specific areas of interest as part of a developmental CPD outlook. Your empathy, people skills and healthy lifestyle outlook are what we are looking for.
This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
