The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Pharmacy and related areas, and has excellent working relationships with NHS, industry, law enforcement agencies and pharmaceutical providers. We are looking for a highly professional, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team in Biomedical Sciences, with a specific interest Biochemistry (with specialist interest in clinical or medical biochemistry).
You will have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences/Biochemistry or related area, together with research and teaching experience in biomedical sciences and biochemistry.
You will be expected to contribute to teaching and administration of the School\’s Foundation, BSc and MSc Biomedical Science programmes, in addition to teaching on other relevant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the school. You will complement existing research/teaching activities in the above areas within the school.
You will be encouraged to develop your own research in conjunction with other members of the school, utilising the world‑class research facilities available in the Life Science Building as well as in the James Parsons Building.
