Liverpool John Moores University is seeking a passionate, skilled and people‑centred Graduate Transitions Officer to join our award‑winning Student Futures team. Student Futures is LJMU's Careers, Employability and Start‑Up team, providing services & opportunities to students & graduates that help them build confidence & skills, secure great onward destinations and successfully navigate early stages of their career. As a strategic partner, we work collaboratively with academic teams, employers and external partners, transforming potential into success.
The Graduate Transitions Officer is a new, high‑impact role that will take an individualised 'casework' approach to supporting graduates to move from unemployment & underemployment into High Skilled roles. This will include proactively supporting graduates from diverse backgrounds, including groups who may experience additional barriers to achieving positive outcomes. The Graduate Transitions Officer will also deliver group training, collaborate with relevant external agencies, and lead on engagement activities such as graduate call centres and Student Futures' presence in graduation weeks.
