Responsibilities
- This role will involve the day-to-day running of the Sport Building and providing the safe and efficient operation to all users.
- You will set up activity areas, work with our Reception and Sports Administration Officers, and provide basic maintenance and cleaning duties to support Cleaning & Maintenance staff from our Campus Support Teams.
- You will be part of the team responsible for the operations of the Sports Facilities, with specific responsibility for project work and a lead role in specific areas of interest as part of a developmental CPD outlook.
- You will be involved in activities that require empathy, people skills and a healthy lifestyle outlook.
- The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience within a sport, exercise and fitness environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer care and experience-led services.
- Up-to-date with developments in the field; relevant fitness industry qualifications and NGB coaching awards are desirable.
- The ability to relate well to students, colleagues, clubs and community users.
- Enthusiasm and motivational skills.
- Team player with a willingness to contribute to project work and CPD development.
