This is an exciting opportunity for a Campus Support Team Leader (Security) to join the Campus Support Team within Campus Services at Liverpool John Moores University. The team provides 24/7 security and out of hours services to a range of campus areas spread across the city of Liverpool.

Reporting to, and deputising for, the Campus Support Supervisor, you will lead one of four shifts of Campus Support Officers. This will be via a ‘continental’ style rotating 12-hour shift pattern ensuring a vibrant, safe, secure, customer centric campus in which to study, work and visit.

For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points). You will also be required to demonstrate flexibility due to the shift pattern and respond to variations in business patterns in support of colleagues and customers.

You will have experience working in a customer focussed role previously ideally within a team providing FM related services or similar. Ideally you will have supervisor or line management experience. You may also have experience of higher education security, incident management, or student related services but above all you will be able to demonstrate a flexible, can-do attitude and be able to relate well to our staff and students in what can be difficult and challenging situations.

You will be able to deliver a proactive campus support function with a focus on student wellbeing, incident response and campus security. A positive proactive, flexible and customer focused approach to different tasks and situations is imperative, ensuring the highest quality service of themselves and their team.

Due to the location of the University Campuses across the city, this is a driving position and you will require a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
