The role: The Parking Services team within Liverpool City’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a team of Civil Enforcement Officers to join us at this exciting time! The Civil Enforcement Officer role involves working across Liverpool’s highway network to ensure that highway users comply with parking and traffic regulations. Civil Enforcement Officers identify and take appropriate action against those who do not comply, therefore playing a key role in keeping the highway operating safely and effectively.
The Civil Enforcement Officer role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, manual handling and patrolling on foot for extended periods. It also involves working shifts and you will receive shift allowance and weekend enhancements as determined by your rota.
We are looking for candidates who have high standards of customer care and can remain calm when dealing with difficult situations. A good standard of education, awareness of relevant legislation and excellent attention to detail are also required.
