The role: Liverpool City Council's Network Management Team is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our busy team, offering you the chance to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovative network management and urban development.
We are seeking a motivated Senior Engineer to work in the Parking and Traffic Orders team, delivering key improvements to parking, traffic management and road safety. In this role, you will support the Principal Engineer and work closely with all functions within Network Management and wider Highway Services to deliver and manage new Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders, Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders, Traffic Restriction Notices, Emergency Orders and other relevant Traffic Orders.
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Engineer will possess a relevant degree or professional qualification HNC / HND / BSc. They must also have demonstrable understanding of the procedures necessary to deliver traffic orders in a local authority setting, along with strong communication, decision-making and time management skills.
