The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The role will co-ordinate activities across Population Health Management and associated areas of work within the ICB. Work with key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects; liaising with a range of teams and organisations where required.

Main duties of the job:

  • Maintain the consolidated book of work for Population Health projects.
  • Ensure an effective project management office operates for population health projects, including accurate and transparent status updates, reporting development pipeline, establish deadlines and completion dates, hold the development team to account.
  • Ensure that development timelines meet stakeholder requirements and are well managed.
  • Own and provide visibility on development timelines, bottlenecks, risks, issues, opportunities, progress.
  • Support the evidenced based transformation process by ensuring that new projects and asks are effectively prioritised at each appropriate stage.
  • Help plan and coordinate the delivery of the book of work, in close collaboration with team leaders and members, third party development teams and ICB stakeholders.
  • Contribute to website content; ensuring that key documents and collateral are available as required.
  • Driving best practice and consistency of process across the organisation in activities such as requirements gathering, embedding, communications and evaluation of solutions.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  • Leadership qualification or evidence of working towards leadership development.
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Practical experience of working in the NHS.
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and processes.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems and ability to use them to undertake analysis of data.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques and how they are used in the workplace, particularly the NHS.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in project management.
  • Experience in NHS data, population health, business intelligence or transformation environment.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to present data in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise to meet the needs of the service.
