We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Player Care Officer. In this varied role, you will provide comprehensive, first-class support to our players, ensuring minimal distraction from practical issues.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a small team that delivers proactive assistance to players by providing services including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting players in setting up their homes, liaising with third parties such as tenancy agreements, cleaning services, utilities, local authorities regarding council tax, TV, telephone/broadband suppliers, mobile phone providers, insurance companies, sourcing driving lessons, and private chefs, as well as setting up families with private and NHS healthcare.
  • Handling all incoming items delivered for players into the training centre and organising couriers and postage of outgoing items.
  • Facilitating the signing of merchandise on behalf of the players.
  • Providing a concierge service for all players as needed.
  • Managing vehicle parking, cleaning, deliveries, collections, and connecting players with preferred suppliers.
  • Organising vehicle servicing, repairs, taxing, and insuring.
  • Making travel arrangements for players and their visitors.
  • Performing general administrative duties such as raising purchase orders, paying bills, and handling player ticket requests.
  • Undertaking additional duties during peak times, such as end-of-season arrangements and hosting families and friends at events.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed, you should have previous experience in a Player Care or similar customer-focused role within an elite sporting environment. You need excellent office, organisational, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in more than one language, and the confidence to work independently. Good IT skills, knowledge of the local area, and a full clean driving license are essential. A flexible approach to duties and hours is required to meet the needs of the club.
