Liverpool Football Club are looking for talented and dedicated back of house team members, including Kitchen Porters and Store & Cellar Porters to join their busy and expanding catering and hospitality departments.
These key behind the scenes roles are based in various catering and hospitality store rooms and kitchens situated around the stadium.
An overview of the Stores Porter job role will be to ensure that any requested equipment or furniture is delivered to the right place at the right time and to carry products from one area of the ground to the other. Porters are also required to ensure each back of house area is cleared of rubbish and left tidy at the end of each match.
Successful team members will be committed individuals with good management skills, the ability to build a rapport with customers and staff alike and help to set the standards to sustain effort in order to achieve exceptional customer service.
These are practical roles and you must have the stamina and ability to work under pressure and make decisions. You must be well presented with a friendly, approachable attitude and show confidence when welcoming staff and customers to Anfield.
Experience of working in a similar environment is preferred but not essential. If you are passionate about customer service, strive to go the extra mile but can also use your initiative if involved in a difficult situation, then we want to hear from you.
For the Kitchen Porter role, no previous experience is necessary however applicants must be prepared to work hard under pressure and be dedicated to getting the job done. As these roles may require handling alcohol and certain shift patterns, applicants must be 18 or over. Proof of eligibility to work within the UK which must be provided at first interview.
