We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as an Inclusion Coach.
In this role, you will support the development and delivery of community sports inclusion programmes, focusing on coach management and inclusive curriculum development.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure quality and genuinely inclusive sessions are delivered across LFC Foundation community sport programmes.
- Create inclusive session plans and a coach handbook to support programme development.
- Provide CPD/mentoring to casual coaches and volunteers.
- Capture data of participants across the programme.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive activities.
- Engage with and deliver sessions to hard-to-reach groups such as refugees, females, ethnically diverse communities, and disabled young people.
- Engage with local community groups and leaders to promote inclusive sessions.
- Support all LFC projects, programmes, and events as required.
- Ensure session plans and risk assessments are completed to a high standard.
- Deliver social action sessions and workshops.
- Record data in the LFC Foundation database for consistent reporting to funders.
- Undertake case studies and PR opportunities in line with Club and Foundation guidelines.
- Provide content for LFC Foundation social media channels.
- Undertake other tasks as required.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful, you must have a minimum of Level 1 coaching qualification or equivalent in two or more sports. Experience in developing inclusive session plans and supporting community programmes is essential. You should have experience working with minority groups to engage them in sport and physical activity. A Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent in two or more sports is desirable. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
