We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as an Employability Coordinator. We have two positions available:
Employability Coordinator (Post programme)
This role will play a crucial part in the ongoing development and delivery of the LFC Foundation’s the ready for Works team.The team is dedicated to providing tailored, sustained support to participants before, during and after they complete our core programmes, helping them transition into a variety of positive destinations, including further education, employment, training, or volunteering opportunities.By building on the progress participants have already made, this role will help ensure long term impact and meaningful progression pathways.
Employability Coordinator (Global Works)
This role will play a vital part in the continued development and delivery of the LFC Foundation’s Premier League-funded Employability Programme across the Liverpool City Region.Designed to inspire and upskill individuals through the power of sport, the programme operates in both educational and community-based settings, aiming to raise aspirations, improve employability, and support positive life outcomes.
What will you be doing?

  • Deliver employability programmes that both up-skill and raise the aspiration of young people.
  • Create curriculum and engaging workshop content to achieve programme KPIs.
  • Identify and recruit young people, working alongside the Foundation’s marketing team.
  • Manage the project delivery timetable alongside the use of the LFC Foundation’s Learning Space.
  • Manage programme logistics include venue-management, transport, food and accommodation.
  • Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively to ensure data is captured accurately and in line with our reporting procedures.
  • Manage the risk across employability programmes to ensure the safety of all young people and staff.
  • Continually carry out the quality assurance procedure to ensure consistent delivery of a world-class programme.
  • Incorporate the highest safeguarding practices into all your work.
Who are we looking for:
We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals with a strong background in planning and delivering educational sessions, particularly for young people and vulnerable adults.The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate a solid understanding of employability pathways. Experience working within the sports sector and signposting young people to further opportunities is essential.A commitment to the mission and values of the Liverpool FC Foundation is a must, along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.The successful candidate will also possess strong organisational abilities and the capacity to evaluate programme successes and areas for development.
Candidates must hold a Level 1 qualification in Safeguarding Young People and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience in collecting and analysing data is required, as is a working knowledge of social media platforms.The ability to create engaging digital content and online courses is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
While not essential, it would be advantageous for applicants to hold a teaching and learning qualification and have experience in providing career advice and guidance.An understanding of inclusive youth work practices and mentoring within a youth work context is also beneficial.Additionally, a good knowledge of the local employability industry will support the successful delivery of our programmes.

This is a full-time FTC role working 35 hours per week.Your main base will be Anfield Sports and Community Centre but you will be required to travel in and around Merseyside.
