Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for Casual Match Day Stewards to join our team.
As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a Group Induction & Interview. During the induction, members of our Safety Team will introduce the role, outline key responsibilities, and provide essential information. This will be followed by individual interviews to assess your suitability for the position.

What will you be doing in the role?
- Working as part of a team to provide a safe and secure environment for match day events.
- Ensuring compliance with stadium regulations, keeping spectators safe and informed.
- Responding effectively to any incidents of disorder with a calm and focused approach.
- Offering support and guidance to spectators when needed, ensuring they feel welcome and informed.
- Conducting personal searches of spectators entering the stadium to maintain security.
- Documenting and reporting incidents, ensuring clear and accurate records are kept.
We are looking for people who:
- Have strong communication skills and can confidently engage with supporters, even in challenging situations.
- Can handle conflict calmly and professionally.
- Can write clear reports and possess a basic understanding of conflict management.
- Are over 18, due to the nature of the role.

By applying for the position of Casual Match Day Steward with Liverpool Football Club, please be aware that this role requires the completion of a Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety (as per the Sports Grounds Safety Authority), which must be completed within 3 months from the date of your first induction training.
By submitting your application, you confirm that you can commit to completing the Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety within 3 months from your first induction training. If you are unable to complete it within this timeframe, we may not be able to progress your application.
This is a casual position, offering variable hours including evenings and weekends on a flexible assignment basis.
