We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Specialist in E-Commerce Trade on a Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day trading of all LFC retail eCommerce stores and selling channels. From managing campaign launches to ensuring accuracy and quality across platforms, you’ll play a key role in delivering a best-in-class online shopping experience. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across E-Commerce UX, Retail Marketing, Merchandising, and Product to drive cross-channel sales and bring our retail vision to life.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the trading and success of all LFC Retail E-commerce stores and LFC retail app(s); ensuring brand representation is of the highest quality and consistent across all sites.
- Deliver and exceed the annual sales/profit plan for all E-commerce stores against the set budget.
- Assist the Trade Manager to continually review key markets via tiers, fan base, country potential and evaluate sales/profit opportunities; make recommendations for future development and country launches/targeting.
- Maintain the seasonal trading calendar and adapt this for each individual market’s needs.
- Ensure products/categories/landing pages are ready for a campaign launch.
- Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends, evaluating this data to present recommendations and new initiatives focusing on building and enhancing the customer experience.
- Work closely with the UX team and partners to optimise the customer experience and improve conversion.
- Develop targeted onsite audience groups to personalise the store experience for fans all around the world.
- Regular communication with the UX E-Commerce team and retail customer services team to ensure any site feedback is recorded and actions are taken where required.
- Assist Ecommerce specialist to manage all payment disputes, ensuring customers are communicated and aim to resolve cases as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.
- Compiling accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading performance, including product categories and ranges.
- Highlighting sales and conversion trends against forecast and previous performance.
- Reporting on audience targeting groups to track the success of advanced targeting and personalisation.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel e-commerce tracking/monitoring reports.
- Plan and carry out functional, and end-to-end testing of desktop, mobile, and tablet applications.
- Script and execute manual integration, regression, browser compatibility, device testing and SEO tests.
- Identify gaps in E-Commerce SEO strategy across website and measure results.
- Improve online visibility through on-page improvements and track organic search rankings.
- Oversee & support the E-Commerce Trade Assistant.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, it is important that you have a strong command of current and emerging E-Commerce standards. A qualification in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field would be beneficial for this position. You will be a commercial thinker with strong communication and organisational skills and can work in a fast-paced environment. You will be analytical with the ability to interpret complex data and can provide strong actions/results individually and as well as a team. You must have excellent IT skills and have advanced knowledge of MS office products.
