We are looking for a Partnership Executive to join the team at Liverpool FC. You will be part of the Partnerships Delivery Team and you will support the Managers and Senior Partnerships Managers to contribute to the day-to-day management of Club Partners in achieving their marketing and partnership objectives.
In addition, you will build relationships with internal departments to ensure the effective delivery of the partner campaigns with the involvement of the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain regular and appropriate interaction with Partner contacts to build excellent working relationships.
- Develop trust and confidence within the Partner organisations you work with.
- Support the Managers in determining KPIs for each Partner and report on these appropriately, including producing case studies for each campaign or project undertaken by the Partner.
- Support the Managers in delivering 360 account management: planning, delivery, measurement, financial reporting, and feedback, with appropriate regular reporting both internally and externally.
- Lead on the efficient delivery of specific rights as agreed with the relevant Managers.
- Be proactive in updating progress and finding solutions to any roadblocks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Partner industries and their competitive markets.
- Own key internal projects with other Club departments, focusing on speed and efficiency.
- Provide support to the wider LFC Partnerships Department with renewal and new business discussions where requested.
- Complete administrative tasks in a detailed and efficient manner, working in partnership with the Partnership Managers.
- Be a positive contributor and collaborator within the Partnerships Team to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Bring fresh ideas and new ways of working to both internal and external environments.
- Manage additional projects assigned by the Managers/Senior Partnership Managers, including contributing to financial and budget tasks, database completion, impact tracking, etc.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will hold a degree and/or have significant years of relevant experience within Partnership or Sponsorship roles gained in the sports marketing industry. They will have a proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, supported by strong knowledge of marketing campaigns, brand trends, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics. With excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, they will communicate confidently both internally and externally and be able to influence and persuade a range of audiences. Highly organised and methodical, they will consistently deliver high-quality work, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and manage their own workload effectively to meet deadlines. The role requires someone adaptable, self-driven, and confident working independently, with the initiative to solve problems and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Proficiency across Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, along with experience in event management, is also essential.
