We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a Programme Coordinator, Employability. This role will create and deliver high-quality employability support to provide life-changing opportunities in the most deprived areas of Liverpool, helping to raise aspiration and job prospects for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Work with participants on a 121 basis to provide tailored career guidance.
- Deliver employability programmes that up-skill and raise the aspiration of young people, with a strong focus on supporting participants onto positive destinations through our post-programme provision.
- Create curriculum and work with external partners to achieve programme KPIs.
- Identify and recruit young people, working alongside the Foundation’s marketing team.
- Manage a range of stakeholders including the recruitment, vetting and training of professional mentors.
- Manage programme logistics including venue-management, transport, food and accommodation.
- Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively to ensure data is captured accurately and in line with our reporting procedures.
- Facilitate work experience placements that support both the young person and the employer.
- Manage the risk across employability programmes to ensure the safety of all young people and staff.
- Continually carry out the quality assurance procedure to ensure consistent delivery of a world-class programme.
- Incorporate the highest safeguarding practices into all your work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in signposting young people to further opportunities, including experience working within education, teaching and/or careers environment.
- Experience planning and delivering educational sessions and working with young people and vulnerable adults.
- Experience in collecting and analysing data.
- Level 1 Safeguarding Young People.
- Understanding of inclusive youth work practices and knowledge of mentoring in a youth work context.
- Good knowledge of local industry.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, including strong organisational skills.
- Competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including proficiency on social media platforms.

Why should you apply?
This is a full-time fixed-term role for a period of 2 years with a view to extended, depending on business needs. You will be working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Anfield Sports however, the role will involve some travel to other locations across Merseyside and occasionally further travel across England and Wales.
