We are currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef who is looking for a new opportunity to showcase their culinary skills and creativity.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading and managing your designated section to ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Preparing, cooking and finishing dishes in line with recipes, specifications and service requirements.
  • Supporting junior chefs with guidance, training and day to day supervision.
  • Ensuring consistency in quality, portion control and presentation.
  • Maintaining full compliance with food safety, allergen and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitoring stock levels within your section and supporting stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Assisting senior chefs with menu preparation, service planning and kitchen organisation.
  • Contributing to a positive, professional and high-performing kitchen culture.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will have previous experience within a similar role, with experience cooking and preparing high-quality dishes and working with chefs at all levels.
  • Strong technical cooking skills and a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certificate (minimum).
  • Ability to lead by example and support the development of junior team members.
  • Calm and organised approach under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for food, quality and continuous improvement.

There are some aspects of office-based work which will be required as part of the role. As part of the job, you will be required to undertake menu writing, research and development, have a good understanding of allergen training and knowledge, and be able to lead a team on both match days and non-match days. This full-time, permanent role (35 hours/week, 5 from 7 days), based at Anfield Stadium.
