We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as an Impact & Insights Coordinator. In this role, you will play an active role in the design, implementation and ongoing development of impact plans across assigned departments and programme areas within the LFC Foundation. You will support the Impact & Insights team in ensuring that robust and proportionate monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks are in place across the Foundation's portfolio, drawing on both quantitative and qualitative methods to evidence and communicate social impact. You will provide guidance and capacity-building support to colleagues, helping to embed good evaluation practice and data management standards across the organisation.
What will you be doing?
- Impact Planning and Evaluation
- Support assigned departments and programme areas, working with programme managers to develop, implement and review monitoring and evaluation frameworks in line with the Foundation's outcomes framework and Theory of Change.
- Support the design and implementation of appropriate data collection methods, including validated quantitative tools (e.g. SWEMWBS, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, SDQ) and qualitative approaches such as case studies, focus groups and structured interviews.
- Contribute to the Foundation's ongoing development of social impact measurement practice, drawing on sector best practice and relevant evidence from sports charities and the wider third sector.
- Assist in translating impact evidence into clear, accessible reports and outputs for a range of audiences, including funders, senior leadership, trustees and community stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
- Liaise with colleagues across the Foundation to establish reporting needs, agree data requirements and ensure I&I plans are understood and adhered to at programme level.
- Contribute to the preparation of funder reports, impact summaries and strategic reporting materials, ensuring all content is accurate, ethically represented and aligned with GDPR requirements.
- Identify trends and patterns in programme data and present findings with clear, evidence-based conclusions and recommendations.
- Data Management and Quality Assurance
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Foundation's data management systems (including Salesforce CRM) and support colleagues in understanding how to record and manage data accurately.
- Train and upskill programme staff on data input processes, ensuring consistent, complete and timely data collection in line with the Foundation's I&I Policy and minimum requirements.
- Support internal data audits on a quarterly basis and flag data quality issues to the relevant I&I Manager.
- Ensure all data is stored and handled in line with GDPR, the Foundation's data protection policies and best practice safeguarding requirements.
- Organisational Learning and Development
- Contribute to the Foundation's wider learning culture by identifying and sharing emerging evidence, validated tools and best practice from the sports for development and charity sectors.
- Undertake continuing professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of social impact measurement, MEAL methods and digital data tools.
- Support other Foundation programmes and activities as required.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in social impact, evaluation or data analysis roles, or a research environment, ideally within a charity, sports organisation or community setting.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to analyse and present data clearly.
- Experience of working with data management or CRM systems; knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
- Strong team working and project management skills with experience coordinating multiple projects at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to varied audiences.
- Effective organisational skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- A sound understanding of social impact measurement principles and practice, including the distinction between outputs, outcomes and impact.
- Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods and their appropriate application in community or charity settings.
- Familiarity with data protection legislation (GDPR) and safe data handling practice.
- Positive, flexible and pragmatic. Able to cope with uncertainty and sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Able to manage multiple projects and programmes.
- Friendly open manner and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation skills.

- Knowledge and understanding of the LFC Foundation and its parent company, Liverpool Football Club.
Why should you apply?
This position is offered on a permanent basis and involves working 35 hours per week. The post holder will work 5 out of 7 days and these are typically Monday to Friday. The role is based at Anfield Sports Community Centre, Liverpool however the post holder will also be required to work from other locations across the Liverpool City Region from time to time, and be willing to travel within England and Wales.
