You will support the Customer Insight team with digital and behavioural insight needs, as well as marketing performance analysis. In addition, you will work closely with the Marketing Operations team to deliver accurate email and SMS segmentation and campaign sends. A key part of the role is understanding data compliance requirements and ensuring all activity adheres to these standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Support compliance with regulatory and information security requirements, maintaining system admin records and investigating data issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and document processes to ensure consistency and avoid single points of failure.
  • Attend meetings across the business to understand campaign and insight requirements and share findings.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of marketing data and insight, particularly within direct and data-driven marketing, and will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Business, Marketing, Maths or Statistics. You will be highly organised, detail-focused and an excellent communicator, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure while building positive relationships with internal teams and external partners. A proactive self-learner, you will be comfortable working with new systems and environments and ideally understand the commercial operations within sport.

Technically, you will have solid SQL experience for data querying, strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and hands-on experience with email marketing and automation platforms. You will demonstrate good knowledge of GDPR and data protection, experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and a strong understanding of GA4 and key digital marketing metrics. You will also have an appreciation of database structures, data quality principles, and familiarity with agile methodologies. Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure and with DotDigital, particularly automated and triggered programs, would be highly desirable.
